The pavement here is already extremely narrow, but the council with its complete contempt for pedestrians has allocated pavement space for cars to park on. This means that the pavement is completely inaccessible to disabled people and anyone with a pushchair or pram. Pedestrians have to walk in the road. This whole road (South Worple Way) needs to be free of parked cars and it needs to be filtered so that it is impossible to drive more than a few metres along it. It's used by a lot of people walking and cycling to get between Barnes and East Sheen/Mortlake while avoiding the traffic and associated pollution on the Upper Richmond Road. It's not wide enough for cars so just get rid of them. It is insane to force pedestrians to walk in the road because cars are on the pavement.
