Drivers speed off Kew bridge and the road narrows from 2 lanes to one then opens to 2 lanes again. To cycle towards Richmond on the A307 means holding the lane for a significant length of time and drivers tailgate. Slower speeds plus a cycle lane needs adding even if it means cutting in to the green - more cycles means more green clean air.
