Double no cycling.

The road environment along here seems to be particularly mean for the cyclist. The road has recently become one way - seemingly to accommodate car parking along its length on both sides of the road - (greed). The wide pathway on the left is a promenade to enjoy the views from Richmond Hill. Although cycling is tolerated on that, it is not practical because of the stairs. This pavement seems to have been widened at some point, and the no cycling signs seem to have been put on both bits of it to get rid of any 'ambiguity' over where you can cycle or not!

This is therefore another area where cyclists are being forced to pay the costs of congestion.
