'Taw Bridge' in Barnstaple, with the town of 'Barnstaple' in the background.
The Barnstaple Western Bypass, was opened on 23 May 2007, and carries traffic, pedestrians, and Cyclists. The bridge crosses the 'River Taw'.

The bridge has a reasonable size path for Pedestrians and Cyclists, but the bridge and the road itself is busy, and carries a few lorries, so as a matter of safety, keep your Children and Dogs close by, and away from the road :).
