Every time I bike over Kingston Bridge I think bike track is excellent. Just a shame it goes nowhere much http://t.co/01sUFjvb2T
Central Twickenham - Church Street leading in to King Street and Heath Road. A complete jumble of roads with heavy traffic, bus stops and islands. No cycle path at all. Cross Deep going south has a very inadequate cycle path but if you want … [more]
Turning right on to Upper Richmond Road from Sheen Lane doesn't get a green arrow, which results in bikers getting stranded in the middle of the A305 when the light changes.
Trying to cross the A308 from Taggs Island, by car, bicycle or on foot is extremely dangerous. The traffic just doesn't slow down to let you across. You literally have to take your life in your hands.
The cycle lane on Cross Deep running from the junction with King Street up to Radnor Gardens on the side of the road nearest to the river is a particularly dangerous spot for cyclists. The part nearest to King St has car parking which does … [more]
Bell Lane should have 'two-way traffic' signs. It is a two-way street but drivers often imagine it is one-way northbound and are hostile to cyclists riding in the other direction. (It was a one-way street between about 1970 & 1995).
The Embankment should have 'two-way traffic' signs installed. Because Wharf Lane and Water Lane are one-way, drivers often wrongly believe The Embankment is also a one-way street westbound and are hostile to cyclists riding in the other … [more]
This footbridge has a low level of pedestrian traffic and could easily be converted to shared use, linking the area south of it to the Uxbridge Rd supermarket.
The roadside cycle path here is often obstructed by illegally parked coaches belonging to the neighbouring coach firm.
The footpath here linking Oldfield Rd & Staines Rd is very little used by pedestrians for most of the day and could easily be made a shared use path (possibly with a cycle ban for the short periods when it is often busy just before and … [more]
Great cycle path across Kingston bridge ends in nothing - inadequate cycle racks if you are stopping here, no cycle paths at all to continue into Kingston. Only a fast dual carriage way disappearing under John Lewis.
The shared footpath across the Thames on the A316 is a vital route, especially given the dangerous alternative across Richmond Bridge. However the marked cycle path fails to meet the London Cycling Standard, often shrinking to 100 cm wide. … [more]
Exit from the Richmond Athletic Association (London Scottish Rugby) crosses the shared-use footpath and gives direct to the A316. Visibility is appalling, both for exiting cars and for passing cyclists. This exit should be closed and moved … [more]
The on-road cycle lane is illegal in size, there is lots of room here available to make a legal sized cycle lane - where there's a will there's a way.
CHALKERS CORNER. (Mortlake/North Sheen). Not a roundabout, but a particularly tricky junction for bicycles - unless you get off and walk over a set of pedestrian crossings with your bike. At present this is the best way of negotiating this … [more]
RICHMOND CIRCUS. Almost impossible to use on a bike if you're coming from North Sheen (along the Lower Mortlake Road), and wish to then go round the roundabout to turn left onto Kew Road. Likewise if you're coming from Richmond Town Centre … [more]
Parts of this road do have a cycle lane, but amazingly it goes AROUND the parked cars, which is dangerous a) as cyclists are pushed further out into traffic and b) drivers opening car doors or pulling out can be lethal. This policy … [more]
Multiple traffic islands, poor road surface and subsequently aggressive drivers. could do better here

The terrace is a narrow busy area and cyclists are not left sufficient space to safely travel. Parking along this stretch could be removed to aleviate the issue and a clear path for cyclists on either side.
There needs to be an independent cycle bridge over the railway each side of the existing bridge here as motorists are ignoring the 'do not overtake' markings

Parked motor vehicles, illegally sized cycle lane - never repaired or rarely so make cycling here dangerous.
No cycling provision along this key/popular route between bushy park and richmond park but plenty of space to park motor vehicles - narrow pavements too for pedestrians. Traffic islands don't help either.

No contraflow cycle facility, instead cyclists of all ages are forced to use a one way system for motor vehicles - there is space here but richmond council chose to give it to parked vehicles instead.
This road is difficult for cars to come out of without going into the cycle lane because of poor visibility.
There is a zebra crossing here that people routinely drive through without stopping, even when I am standing ready to cross with my two children.
There should be no cars in Richmond park or it should be a one way system. If it's a one way system for cars, there is sufficient space to create proper cycle lanes.
There is a cycle lane marked on the pavement on the upstream side of the bridge, with cyle crossing lights available from the Thames cycle path (past Hampton Court Palace) however once you've crossed the bridge into Molesey there is no drop … [more]
The road here on this part of Sandycombe Rd is down to one lane for traffic moving in both directions. This is due to car parking spaces limiting space on an already thin but busy road. It leads to buses, cars and cyclists having to use one … [more]
Travelling from Hampton Hill and turning right into the A312 (Uxbridge Road) , it is very difficult when cycling to pull into the right-hand lane due to the volume and speed of traffic behind. A cyclist's filter lane would help riders make … [more]
No cycling provision here at all, yet room is found for people to park there cars, therefore discouraging cycling when the opposite should happen - welcome to cycling in the LB of Richmond - you are not wanted.
Whitton and the areas around Twickenham Stadium are good routes to avid the busy Chertsey Road but there are few good cycle lanes around here. The Borough of Hounslow areas are particularly poor and unsafe for cyclists.
Richmond Park is a haven for cyclists! There is a dedicated cycling path all around the park, and faster cyclists compete with cars on the road, often overtaking cars and exceeding the 20 mile speed limit or cycling 2 or 3 abreast slowing … [more]
Richmond Park should be turned into a haven for cyclists! The current access is not bad but you're still a second-class citizen beholden to the cars. Why not ban cars altogeter (apart from disabled access etc.) and make the ring road into a … [more]

Chalkers Corner junction between the south circ and the A316 is a nightmare for cycling. The A316 cycleway comes to an abrupt stop leaving you stranded on the pavement and having to deal with 6 lanes of cars or ride across the pedestrian … [more]
Just an idea....but as we know cars and cycles don't mix without an element of risk...if we have a poor driver plus or a driver not concentrating..danger!...new cyclists or someone thinking about cycling would be put off...My proposal is … [more]
